I have found american style saltines at Kwik Save, and also have actually bought Krispy Saltines, imported from America at Asian markets, Raja Brothers is the actual name of the store, I'm in Birmingham, dunno if they have the same store in all the other cities, they have other imported stuff as well, like oreos, which I can't find anywhere, I've also bought Bisquick there. Hope this helps.

My local Tesco store does some Italian crackers, in a long brown packet - just like Saltines (and maybe even better??!!).

Yep, they are called Doriano Italian Crackers.  Very, very close to saltines, but not so salty and a bit crisper.
Insert wonderfully creative signature here …

Thanks whoever gave the tip about the Doriano Italian Crackers. I thought I was going to have to kill myself after Tescos stopped stocking the American Snack Crackers, but now I have a reason to live.

Of course with how fast we went through that first packet I think we are going to need 2 or 3 next week :)
