UPS lost my our package

Hi All,

At the moment UPS don't know where the package with my wife's application decision is. Has anybody experienced anything like this before, do you know what to do if the package is lost?

Yes, this has happened a couple of times.  All have happy endings.  Keep calm, persist hard with UPS, it will work out.

Just checking, did tracking show it leaving Sheffield? If not it'll still be there presumably.

It happened to me in April. My decision package went from Sheffield to Frankfurt. UPS website said it was delayed but when I called they said it had been "left in the building" by the driver and was subsequently "recovered". They didn't say why they shipped it to Germany instead of the US to begin with but a day later after being recovered, it was back in transit and was delivered. It added a bit more anxiety to an anxious process but in the end all was well.

Mine spent the night in Germany, too.

Thanks all, the package made its way to California but was sent to the wrong depot, they couldn't locate it yesterday but its up in Portland, Oregon. They have already shipped it to California, so hopefully be delivered through the night, two days late. 8 days after being advised a decision was made.

It's so annoying to have to wait even longer once you know a decision's been made. At least the package has been located and is on the way to you now!

Great news that it was located quickly and is back on the way to you.  Definitely stress you don't need!

I'm pretty sure they all go to Frankfurt to be added to a plane going over to the US.  Mine spent 2 nights there, first because they claimed a mechanical failure and then when I started asking if that's the only plane they have, saying it was stuck in customs    I'm still salty over the whole experience with UPS if I'm being honest, it's not like the return shipping was cheap!

Yeah that's the frustration and the customer service is terrible can't get anybody to help. Luckily the guy at the local UPS was searching for us and keeping us informed otherwise, we would of felt helpless. When you think how much you pay the courier and it's actually just UPS and then they can lose it, I think its a appalling.

If it's ups they should go to Cologne as that's where the European hub is. But that's fantastic news that it's been located. All the good juju your way!
