Embassy visit - recommendations of places to stay
« on: August 03, 2017, 08:06:13 AM »
Morning!

Not sure if this is the right place to post.

Got an embassy visit this month for the kids citizenship.

I would like recommendations for hotels either nearby or those you can tube it in from.

Not so keen on the tube in rush hour with a 2 year old and 8 month old  but if needs must we will get on it.

Im also not so keen on driving in London. Its a no win lol. We will be getting there in the evening so hopefully it wont be too bad.

We dont care if there is a half hour walk to the embassy.

Thanks all

If you don't want to drive in London (I don't blame you), park at a Tube station on the outskirts and take the Tube in. Just be sure you're parked legally and all that stuff.

London's got the full range of Airbnbs from terrible to awesome and way too cheap to way too expensive. What's your price range?

Ive just booked one with airbnb staying near the embassy. Its got 3 really good reviews. 203 pounds. A lot cheaper than some of them and its walking distance.

Turns out im working the day  we are going down so it will be 10pm when we get there. So im banking on traffic being quieter. I hope lol
