Hi guys. Im planning to apply in two weeks and We are going through an immigration lawyer. So basically we are taking the savings route because (a) my grandpa gave us a wedding gift that met the savings requirement
(b) my husband did not meet the salary required uptil now
The problem is that our lawyer said that going through the savings route after recieving a gift might be an issue for UKIV becaus they might suspect its a loan that we will return after I get my visa and not an actual gift, despite my grandfather writing a letter saying it is a wedding gift.
Because of that, my lawyer wants my husband to hand in his letter from his new employer, his job contract and payslips. The problem is that my husband is only starting a new job (that meets the required salary) NEXT week and we want to apply in two weeks time so he wont be able to produce a payslip as its a new job and we have to wait until the end of the month and we have beeen waiting for tooo long already. So do you guys think just the job contract and letter from employer can be enough to show that despite of going through the savings route, we also have a good salary coming from the new job. Please advice?
