Bringing MN nice to NW London
« on: September 26, 2017, 09:38:26 PM »
Hello all!

I'm from Minnesota but have been living, studying, and working in London for 4 years now. I've learned to make a proper cup of tea, stop smiling at people on public transport, and accepted that my clothes will never be "America dry."

My fiancé (a Brit) and I are coming up to a few crossroads (marriage and a move to the U.S. to give it a whirl) and thought it best to turn to a community of people who have been/are in similar situations! I'll post details in the appropriate sections.

Looking forward to being part of this group!

Beth

Welcome to the group! :)

There's definitely a lot of good information and knowledgeable people here. This'll definitely be a big decision for you both, but as long as you have it all well thought out and do your research, you'll be able to make the right choices for the both of you! Don't hesitate to ask questions even if you think it sounds stupid (chances are, tons of other people have thought it before as well and can give you an answer).
My, how time flies....
