Double checking out of paranoia

Getting ready to mail in the FLR(M).....doesn't look like you need a SAE. Looked at an old post that went over the same thing. Unless it is special delivery where you will need to pre-pay......they will just send the package back to you Recorded Delivery at no further expense to you?

That's correct. I used special delivery both ways though. I wasn't going to take any chances with that precious cargo!  :)

I paid £11 each way a year ago. You just pay for the postage and they give you the envelope free which is useful!

Great! Thanks. Although I would have thought it might have been a bit cheaper sending back considering they are keeping the application and one copy of stuff.

When you go into the post office......do you need to bring any envelope at all? Does the post office supply the sending AND the return envelope?

I just asked for a return the same as I paid to send it because taking out the form wouldn't make a whole lot of difference and they sometimes return the copies too. And I just didn't want to take any chances at all!

They have those plastic s.d.envelopes that they give you free when you buy the postage. One to send everything in and one to enclose for the return.
