US Military Dependent ID Card

My wife's  military dependent ID has expired, we live in Northern Ireland, does anyone know how we can get a new one issued without traveling 300 miles? I am retired, not on military assignment.

Oh, dear... I honestly don't know.  But does she need it if you're not going to be on base?  Can she not just renew it next time you travel to a base?

The last time I renewed mine, in February of 2012, they set it for an INDEF expiration.  It is valid until 2038, apparently...?

Her next renewal will be for life, the last renewal expiration went by her green card expiration, she is now a dual citizen, I don't want her to fall out of the system especially for Tricare for Life. There has got to be a way to do this via the web, if you hear of any info please let me know.

It looks like the cards can only be replaced in person at your nearest RAPIDS site (for me, that's 110 miles away).  This is the most definitive statement I've found:

Renewing Your Card

If your Uniformed Services ID Card expires, you should go to the nearest RAPIDS site and obtain your new card."

My card is good 'til 2038 (and I doubt I'll live that long!), so I might not need this information, but I am sure someone else will at some point.  Well done doing all the effort to find this out, and thank you for sharing it here!
