Travel Date Question-Spouse Visa
« on: January 02, 2018, 06:38:24 AM »
So I started my online application a month ago. I put down December 31st as my travel date when I initially signed up. However, I had to wait a couple extra weeks than expected to apply. I put the correct date in "date of planned arrival in UK"(Feb 1st) in the application itself, but it seems like I can't change the 'travel date' associated with my application/reference number. Will this cause issues/is there anyway to change it?

Also, I was wondering when/how you receive the BRP?

Just change the travel date in pen on your printed online application form and then if you are including a cover letter, you can emphasise the new date in there.

You will receive a letter with your visa telling you what date you can pick up your BRP - it will usually be on or a few days after the start date on your visa vignette. You need to pick up your BRP from a designated UK Post Office within 10 days of arriving in the UK, or before the end of the 30 days on the visa vignette, whichever is later.
