Vsf global vs UPS

Are UKVI forcing people to use Vsf global shipping services for the return of documents or is there still a way to deal with UPS directly? My mcafee programme doesn't even allow me to access the vsf shopping cart with my pc, claims site is untrustworthy (not that I want to deal with a middle man, I was trying to check prices).

You can use UPS directly though it’s a little trickier as you cannot create an international return label to include in the package.

So what you need to do is:
- create an online account with UPS or DHL
- include your online account number with your documents
- ship the documents to Sheffield using normal UPS or DHL methods
- when your visa is ready, Sheffield will use your online account number to charge your account for the return shipping back to the US.

However, Sheffield may not use the account number and instead may contact you asking you to email them a VFS return label instead (sometimes this happens even when you do include the VFS label to start with).
