Margo-

So sorry for all your trouble but you have in fact helped a fellow New Yorker. We are down in Westchester and are hoping we can drive down to JFK and get the forms certified there but this was a major heads up.

Does anyone know if we can in fact go to JFK to get the forms certified there or is this awful Albany office the only option?

Thanks,

NWKH

I would call them. There used to be an office in Buffalo but I called them and they said they only do commercial work now when it comes to cats and dogs. The certificate took about 3 days to be back in my hands with the overnight express mail prepaid so just factor that in if you have to mail the form. Also - I think volume was a factor because once they had my forms they were really helpful and on top of things. :)

JFK you can go but you need an appointment and it has to be within 5 days of your travel.

You can also overnight to Albany. However - it does say on the email that they sent me that they take walkins from local residents. Not sure how they verify but I didn't qualify as I had already said I live in Queens.
