Cravings
« on: December 08, 2004, 05:47:58 PM »
When I have cravings it's usually for carbohydrates, or things with carbohydrates.  I just love potatoes, rice, pasta and breads.  Melted cheese makes it even better.

When I have a nasty head cold and I'm all stuffed up, I crave really spicy things to clear my head:  a vindaloo or pasta with sauce that's doused in a hot sauce.

What do you crave?

Dont really crave anything here. I crave icy things when Im pregnant. I used to love Jello pudding pops when I lived in the USA.

I crave carbs mostly.  I could use some authentic mexican food right now, in fact I will most likely spend my day thinking of Tucson,AZ and all the place I crave.

Sugar, sugar, sugar, sugar, and sugar.

If it were socially acceptable, I'd eat it straight without all this nonsense of other ingredients.

I could exist on lattes, bloomers (no butter or anything), red wine, and yogurt.

Had to nix the yogurt last month to clear my daughter's eczema, can't drink b/c it makes me too tired but I do the latte and breads.

ETA: I love American doughnuts.  Big cinnamon rolls, buttermilk bars, chocolate cake, raised and glazed.  Those I miss terribly.

lol. The other day I had the holy trinity: sweet, salty and chocolate. I'm not going into detail cause it was ugly.

Anything sweet and salty!

Its funny how sweet and salty seem to be a popular trend in this thread.  How about chocolate covered pretzels and if they have been covered in caramel prior to the chocolate coating, thats all the better!  Damn, now I am hungry and its only 8:25 in the morning.  ;D
