Evidence timelines

Hi all,

it's likely that we'll be sending our evidence pack from the UK (I have taken on the 'administrator' role in this process). I'm in the UK, and my wife-to-be is in the US. We will be getting married in the US.

So I've got this scenario playing out in my mind that I need to check with you guys:

• I need to get my business evidence as Director etc from 17/18 accounts during March 2018, so this will dictate timings to some extent (will be fast tracking finalising of accounts)
  • is it 5 days or 10 days that we have to submit the pack to Sheffield following her US biometrics?
    • I am assuming that she will need her passport for the biometrics interview,
       and then post it to me as the last required piece of evidence to add to the pack?

It’s 5 days from biometrics but they don’t seem to be strict about it, unlike everything else. You should aim to get it there within the time though.
Yes, she’ll need her passport for biometrics, she’ll also need to sign the print out of the application form and send to you and any other evidence, such as of relationship which is coming from her.
Make sure she uses a courier and NOT usps!

when you say courier - any recommendations here?

UPS or Fedex or similar, which ever you prefer.
