Lodging a complaint and requesting a refund?
« on: February 16, 2018, 10:39:17 PM »
Hey all! Now that I'm here and settled a bit, I'm wondering how to go about formally complaining and requesting a refund for the gold service I was not provided. Any advice on who to contact would be so appreciated!

TIA!

I would go through your MP.  Have him/her write a formal letter (or email) with a short explanation of your experience and a request for the fees to be refunded.  They are required to respond.

I hope you are able to get help!

Another option if you paid by credit card would be dispute the amount through them.  That might be a bit trickier though.  (only dispute the amount of the Gold service and not the visa though).

Ah ok, thanks! I think they may be willing to help. I considered mentioning it when the case was being closed after I got my visa, but didn't realize I'd need to involve them again.
