SET (M) - Periods of absence
« on: March 23, 2018, 10:23:49 PM »
This may be a very stupid question.

I'm applying for ILR on the 5-year spouse route.
On the application it asks you to state all periods of absence in the UK during the time you've been in the UK.
For me, this is 9y and 6 mo.
Do I have to list every single time I've taken a holiday? The longest trip I've taken outside of the UK is to visit home in the US for 2 weeks at a time.
Other than that it may have been a short holiday to mainland Europe.
If I have to find out all of this it will take me ages!!!

How much of this do I realistically have to declare on the application? Or do they only care about longer periods of absence?

Thank you for your help!

For the ILR application it appears you have to list every single trip.

If you don’t have room on the form, you can just list them on a separate sheet.
