FLR M sponsor details question
« on: March 24, 2018, 12:26:40 PM »
Hi everyone,

My wife and I started filling the FLR M application and I've got a query regarding one of the questions in the sponsor details section. The question says:
If your sponsor was not British from birth, when did your sponsor obtain settlement?

I (the sponsor) am a British citizen and was naturalised in March 2011. Unfortunately I cannot remember when I got my ILR, and I cannot find any documents with my ILR on them. Is it OK to give a best guess for the question? If yes, where in the application can I provide more details to explain that I gave an approximate date? Or should I print a separate paper with a sentence explaining my answer?

Also given that I was naturalised in March 2011, at the time I assume the rules were that naturalisation takes place a year after the ILR (honestly cannot remember  :-[ :-[)? If that's the case, then I was thinking of putting a date in January 2010 as a best guess.

Thanks
