Settlement refusal - reapplying
« on: April 05, 2018, 08:22:24 PM »
Hi everyone!

So we are about to start getting ready to reapply. I wanted to submit to you my refusal letter so you can confirm why we were refused and help us correct.

This time the $74,012.20 has been held for over 6 months and we are submitting the sale of our home as well ($38k apx). Does this read like the only issue was with the funds?

Thanks!
Staci

Nothing to worry about. Apologies for not replying before... I clicked on this last night but was in the middle of something at the time, and then I went to bed, forgetting to reply. I then got up at 5:45am this morning, worked a 12-hour shift, came home and ate dinner, and I've only just remembered about it now.

Looks like the only reason for refusal that they mention is the financial requirement. Having said that, I would make sure you double-check all the documents for the other requirements too, just to make sure you aren't missing anything (that they didn't mention in the letter).

Sorry!!! I should have added an lol at the end of that! Because it was more a sarcastic tone than a grr one.
Ok great! That’s what I thought as far as the reasoning, I just didn’t want to assume and be slapped again and $8k down after two refusals. I am waiting on the house to close and a new letter from our accommodations and I will post my full checklist.

Also you are one busy lady!!!!!!!! (I assume you’re a lady apology if my assumption is wrong)

Thank you as always for your endless knowledge and time!! ❤️
