Hello!
I have left this a bit late (ugh) but after I finally did my self-assessment for the UK I thought I could finally get on my US taxes. This will be my first time filing as self-employed and frankly it's making me not want to be self-employed anymore.
Anyways, really my question is about this Part VI Taxpayers Claiming the Housing Exclusion - I assumed that because I live here as a resident, run my own business here, live with my UK husband, that this didn't apply to me. I thought it was for those living in the UK for work purposes. I thought I read this somewhere although I can't see to find it again so any help will be greatly appreciated.
I think I need:
1040 (and I report in box 7 12 about business income).
Schedule C
Form 2555
Am I correct?
Thanks!
