Finances - am I panicing
« on: July 17, 2018, 11:09:23 PM »
I know I shouldn't but given that I have had to completely full out my SET(M) form again as the home office kindly published a new form Friday, I'm stressing a bit.

My salary the last 6 months is all over the place.

February - old salary
March - old salary plus over time
April - new salary plus back pay for new salary for March (we are paid the 18th of the month for the entire month and be salary kicked in 26/3)
May - new salary plus over time plus back pay for our pay award for 2017-18 financial year
June -new salary
July - new salary

If I take the lowest amount and multiply by 12, I meet the requirement, but with it all so varied, do I need to do 12 months pay slips??

I know I am probably over thinking this. But I want it all sorted and put to bed. 6th August cannot come quick enough

The only reason you would need to apply under Category B and provide 12 months is if one of the last 6 months of payslips is less than £1,550 before tax.

So as long as the lowest payslip is £1,550 or more, you are fine and do not need to do anything.
