Clarification about photocopies
« on: August 03, 2018, 06:48:16 PM »
We have almost reached the end of the disgustingly confusing and time-consuming process of applying for my husband's spouse visa. His biometric appt is next Tuesday and we have filled in all the blanks and paid the fees for everything we need.

These forums are lifesavers for which we will be eternally grateful but we often find conflicting information which adds to the confusion.

One we saw today was that we need to send photocopies of EVERYTHING. We were under the impression you only need to send copies of things you want returned (marriage certificate, divorce decrees, rental agreements, etc). Are we correct, or do we really have to photocopy every single email, photo, and letter that are included in this already-huge packet?

Thanks again for the amazing service you provide. Without it, we would feel very much alone in this process.

For the spouse visa, you just copy the things you want returned. For the in country applications, you should copy everything.
