FLR(M) with child born in UK
« on: August 08, 2018, 06:44:10 PM »
Hello, I’m currently on an unmarried partner visa, and not due to apply for FLR for 2 years. However, I want to make sure my partner and I are making plans for showing we meet the financial requirements, given that we are starting a business and will need to make sure we’re covered in our 2019-2020 financials.

If we have a child between now and the time I’m up for my next application (very possible), does that increase the amount we’re required to show we earn above the £18,600? My partner wouldn’t technically be sponsoring his own child, since that child would be British. But how does our having a dependent child affect the financial requirement, if at all?

No.  British children are not included in the financial requirement.  :)
