Spousal Visa

If my husband gets a job in England and accepts it, how long would I expect to wait to be able to join him with the current waits and political issues as of late??? I’m reading through and it seems ppl are just waiting and waiting and waiting.

A work visa is much quicker and their dependants get their visas at the same time as the main visa applicant. The wait on here is for a those on family visas...wanting to join a Britsh partner. With a husband with a work visa, you would be a "dependant" not a "spouse".

Well my husband is actually a UKC, but has lived/worked in the US most of his life. If he were to get a job in England and we decided to move our family would it be different because he’s a UKC and doesn’t need a work visa?

As he is a British citizen,  you would be a "spouse" and he would need to sponsor you. In some circumstances, you could arrive together with you on a visa.

Was he born in the UK to a British citizen parent? Or born in the UK before 1983? If you have children and they are British citizens too, you might want to  be looking at getting their British citizen passports, ready for a move. If they are not British citizens, your husband will have to sponsor them too.

Yes, my husband was born in the UK to a father who is also a UKC who was and is still married to his American mom. Our children are able by decent to get their UK passports, and we are currently applying for those as we speak. I have all supporting documents needed. I should be the only one in need of a visa/being sponsored.
