How do you get a land registry document?
« on: August 28, 2018, 10:19:27 AM »
Hi all! I'm applying for my FLR(M) after getting married in the UK on my marriage visa. I didn't include a land registry document in the marriage visa application but I am worried about not having it this time (last time I just had mortgage documents). I've been searching how to get a land registry document as people have said it's 3 pounds to get. However, I can't find any good information on how to go about this. We are in Scotland and the Registers of Scotland Website is a mess. Can anyone point me to the actual spot where I can get the land registry document? Thanks!

Thanks for the reply. I've looked here but it doesn't actually tell you how to get the information. Where is the actual link to get the land registration document and the payment? The only thing I saw was listed as "ownership search" and was 24 pounds...

Scotland has a different  Land Registry system to England, so it may be that you do have to pay more for it.

I think you need to go to the Copy Deeds section:
https://www.ros.gov.uk/services/copy-deeds

I see a fee of £20 in the fees section, though perhaps it’s gone up to £24?

You can also give them a call and they will explain your options.
