FLRM : Time Lived in UK

Hey,

I'm filling in the FLRM form and it has the very ambiguous question:

"How long have you lived in the UK?"

I've lived in the UK for 5 years since 2011 on various work and student visas, as well as now on a fiance visa.

Once I fill in that answer (years and months) they want to know every time I've left the UK in that time. So that's every trip since 2011. We're talking 50 trips.  Do they really want to know EVERY trip I've taken since 2011?

Everywhere I look online, people seem to be saying to only list the time on your current visa; however, I do want to be sure I'm filling this out correctly.

Any help would be great.

I put all the dates. 

If you use the paper form to apply instead of the online form (which we recommend doing for a number of reasons), you only need to list trips outside the UK that have been for more than 6 months.

10.13 How long have you lived in the UK?

Please provide details of any periods of absence of more than six months during that time.
