Don't worry, Carla.  Even though I love fried chicken myself, I've never been able to actually "fry" it properly.  Always end up making more of a baked "fried" chicken.  :-\\\\

I actually made it for two jet lagged boys form the UK and they liked it.  Only problem I always seem to have is not getting the mammoth chicken breasts cooked through.  I wound up putting them in the oven to finish. It was still nice and crunchy and good!

I still need a lesson . . . it's one of those foods I do so rarely that I need practice. ;D

I've heard that if you boil the chicken in milk so it's almost cooked, you can then fry it nice and crispy and the coating doesn't burn before the chicken is cooked.  But I've never tried it myself.

That sounds like a good idea!
