New member here, a bit wobbly about how to do this!
« on: December 04, 2018, 02:18:42 PM »
Hi!  Just joined this group but haved lived in the UK since 1999.  Moved from Tucson, AZ and am only just seeking citizenship now after learning about BRP (almost the hard way).  I hope I’ve posted this correctly in the Welcome Wagon section.  I need instructions (semi tech phone)!

Hi Nancy, welcome!  :). There's a load of members going through their citizenship applications at the moment so you'll have plenty of company.  :)

I'm sure you've been there already but just in case, here's a link to the visas and citizenship section of the forum.

You were smart!  I stuck my head in the sand and didn’t bother.  Oh, how I wish I had just done it way back when as you did when it was easier and much cheaper.  Saying that, I found the process pretty straight forward.  I noticed last week that my credit card had been charged for the passport application so I’m expecting a letter in the post any day now confirming my successful application.  Yay!

Thanks for the welcome!
