You're missing (as per the required documents listed in Appendix FM 1.7):

Financial Documents
- letter from your employer dated in the last 28 days, confirming all of the following:
i) current employment and salary
ii) length of employment
iii) length of time earning current salary
iv) type of employment
- job contract
- latest P60

Plus, you do NOT have to send 12 months of payslips and bank statements for category A, because the whole point of Category A is that you only need 6 months. I have no idea why the online form is saying you need 12 months - it appears to be an error on the form, because the official financial requirements guidance is 6 months and always has been. That has not changed.

Do you not need to send the following anymore?
- 2 passport photos of applicant with full name on the back
- 1 passport photo of sponsor with full name on the back

I would also include, just to be safe:
- 1 photo of the two of you together

Thanks for that! We have the letter just forgot to put it on. After 5 November photos are no longer required according to the application. Thanks again!

Okay - I'm still getting used to the changes... I can't actually see the online form without registering an account, and they seem to have deleted the old guidance notes for SET(M), which also doesn't help.

For the greater good, I can send you privately a copy of what the application details or what the tick list looks like now?

Mikeymike31,
I printed the application a few months ago to start getting everything prepared. I need to apply in the next couple weeks, but I can’t see a new checklist... do I have to start the application to know what I need on the application? Where did you get your checklist? Thanks!

Once you get to the stage of booking your appt it will show you a final checklist. And you can access it by going back to your application if you wait to book an appt.

Mikeymike, is there a mandatory document 'proof of application' required in the checklist? Would that mean you have to upload the application again or does that refer to proof of payment? Can you advise please?

They did not ask for it at all. I’m assuming since you do the whole thing online they have it.

Thanks! It has been mentioned elsewhere so I just wondered what it was!

I just had a look again. On the 'Document Checklist' from UKVI that you can download when you finish your online application, there's no mention of 'Proof of Application' anywhere.

However, I just logged into the UKVCAS/Sopra Steria website and in 'Document Upload' there's a category under 'Mandatory Documents' called 'Proof of Application'. The description under it is customised to my own SET(M) application and says, 'Declaration signed by partner, The passport issued by United States of America for Mrs [my name here]'.

But the categories don't really make sense, because under the first 'Mandatory Documents' section called 'Proof of Identity/Travel History' it asks for 'Evidence of Mr [my husband's name]'s settled status in the UK, The passport or travel document for Mr [my husband's name] from British Citizen' but doesn't ask for proof of my own identity. But then, it looks like the scans they took of my passport at the UKVCAS appointment were uploaded into that folder/category.

Got my response today under the new system. Applied on Friday in Birmingham, so should have received a decision yesterday. A day late, but finally can rest as it has been approved!!

Thanks Sivara! I guess once everything that is required is uploaded, it does not matter too much if they are in the right place. I am sure we could come up with better headings to make the process easier.
