Hi folks.
I'm about 13 months away from applying for ILR but with everything changing, I wanted to get a head start in understanding the process. I went to the government website to read the guidance notes and was directed here
https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/application-to-settle-in-the-uk-form-setm

But these aren't guidance notes....it is a path directly to the application. Even with the first visa that had to be completed online, I printed out the application to practice with it before submitting. Going through the application helped me know everything I needed. Would anyone know where to go for all that information now? I've been reading the recent posts about the new system but I feel kind of blind as I am asking questions I could probably answer if I could look at the application and its guidance. :-(
Thanks everyone.

Ugh....well none of the information available that I have found are answering my questions. :-( Anyone know where I can find the nitty gritty details, such as spacing of the cohabitation letters/evidence?

The correspondence requirements are the same as for FLR(M), except you cover 2.5 years instead of 2 years.

So that’s:
- 6 documents in each name
- from at least 3 official sources
- evenly spread over the 2.5 years... so that’s 1 in each name every 5 months

Thank you! You are amazing as always, Ksand24! Do we know if it has to be exactly spaced out, or within a range like it used to be?
For example, if I am applying mid-Jan 2020, I would need something within the dates of Aug-Dec 2019, March-July 2019, Oct 2018-Feb 2019, May-Sept 2018, Dec 2017-April 2018, July - Nov 2017? (I think those would be the right months...I got my second visa on July 18th 2017 and it runs out Feb 15th 2020.) Or, would I need exactly specific months? I hope not, as that would be confusing as to exactly which month to start with :-(

The guidance has always said evenly spread but you can choose which month you want to start with so that it suits you best. It's flexible!

So I could get away with Oct 2017, March 2018, Aug 2018, Jan 2019, June 2019, and November 2019?  Would I have any wiggle room and be able to use July or September 2018? I have a bill from July 2017, but its dated five days before my most recent visa was issued so I can't use it. And I just noticed that the water bill I ordered didn't have my name on it (we just moved house and had to go through the pain of getting my name back on all accounts because for some reason they took it off when we moved them over...grrr). I would like to start with Aug 2017, but I may have missed that month - although I remember calling every month for at least water bills, some of them seem to have disappeared. I have an HMRC letter from that month, and am trying to find my husband's payslip from that month. But bottom line, its definitely bang on every five months?

Yay, we found the payslips!
So I can do the following:
Aug 2017 = HMRC letter for me, payslip for him
Jan 2018 = dual water statement (or HMRC letter for me, DVLA letter for him)
June 2018 = dual water statement
Nov 2018 = dual energy statement
April 2019 = TBD
Sept 2019 = TBD

It shouldn't matter that the August 2017 payslip is from his old company, right?  Its a mailed payslip, with the company name on it and his first inital + last name.

Dammit, I forgot his old company turned into a bunch of jerks and it took two months for them to change addresses - they kept sending payslips to the old address and we only got it cause I had our mail forwarded. So the addresses are different for us for August 2017. Oh well, back to the drawing board.

Does anyone think a letter from the local police would work? Our car was vandalised in August 2017 and we were sent a generic dated letter from the police just acknowledging that we reported it as a crime. Thoughts?
