Time between decision and documents being sent back
« on: December 16, 2018, 06:35:02 AM »
It would be wonderful to have some feedback on how long it takes between the UKVI making a decision (spousal settlement) and the documents being sent back (sent, not received).

We keep being told by the email enquiry service that a decision has been made (now 10 business days since we were first told, the actual decision could have and should have been much earlier). No email has been received telling us that the documents are on the way and there is no movement on the UPS tracking number.

To be honest, the enquiry service is known for giving incorrect information, including telling people a decision has been made when in reality, the application hasn’t even been looked at yet.

It may be that they were correct and a decision has been made, but given that it’s been so long since they told you that and you still haven’t received the official decision made email from Sheffield, I would assume your visa has not yet been processed.

Normally, the visa will be issued and mailed out either the same day or within 1-2 days of receiving the decision made email and UPS tracking emails from Sheffield.
