I had consulted this board about my FLR(M) application in March, some may remember my panicked post! We had a pretty concerning issue around pay. Long story short: my pay had been going into my husbands solo account which meant my pay might not be considered for the financial requirement(we’ve since had our pay transferrrd to our joint account. Wont make that mistake again!)
We contacted MediVisas on the recommendation of this sub and Chris is who helped us.
We applied on 18 April with the expiry looming on the 24th of April. We did our biometrics/ doc upload and finalisation on 1 May in Notts. It was okay. Long wait even thought we had an appointment and it was more expensive than the old way, but hey ho.
We got news today my visa has been approved and is on its way with our documents(copies, I expect) to follow shortly! What a quick turn around! I’m really relieved we didn’t actually need the full representation we paid for but I’m glad we had it, just in case. All we did was provide proof Yorkshire bank couldn’t add me to the account and a copy of my debit card I have for the account, the usual financial documentation and a cover letter from Chris at MediVisas.
Just a side note-
MediVisas isn’t run by Victoria anymore. She’s not worked with them in over a year. Her fathers passed away and she’s not been back. I’m only reporting this over because I’ve seen a lot of her mentioned when they’re recommended.
As always, thanks for everyone’s help! Next stop, A much more prepared for ILR!
