FLR(M)
« on: June 06, 2019, 06:57:47 PM »
Hi everyone, it’s finally getting to be time for my FLR(M) which I’ve been stressing about since we got Leave to Enter! So I’ve done the online application (and by done I mean, filled out my questions in advance and have saved for later because I know it’s not time to submit yet. My BRP expires the 7th of August so I plan on applying around the 10th of July. I’m gathering all our letters of correspondence  now. I got here in Nov 2016, my very first piece of mail is from Dec 2016. First joint mail starts April 2017.

Should I include the individual pieces or just the joint stuff? How many months should I split it by? Which month do I start with and which do I end with? I have sooooo much paperwork it’s crazy and I’m getting so overwhelmed I’d really appreciate a proper month breakdown if possible!

If we apply beginning of July, June bank statements should be okay right? I remember there being a stupid 28 day rule so I’ll make sure all our letters from employers and stuff are dated around that time too. Starting to panic but trying to stay calm! Thanks everyone!

You can apply from 28 days before the date you entered the country on your spouse visa and before the BRP expires.

You submit one individual piece from each of you or one joint piece for each 4 month period. You need three sources and 6 joint or 12 individual pieces or a combination of both.

Where you start and finish is not an exact science. I took our council tax bill as the starting point and worked forwards and backwards from there!  :)

Love your pic!  :)

The financial evidence has to be dated within 28 days of the day you submit and pay for your online application. So that's the most recent bank statement, pay slip and your employers letter.
