Priority appointment
« on: June 05, 2019, 07:02:21 PM »
Hi

So I payed the nhs surcharge, payed priority and now get to book an appointment.  We’re applying for an extension on the spouse visa from in the uk.  All of the appointments are booked in norwich and surrounding area except croydon which is a hike but not surprising. The issue I have is there is no free (core) appointments and only £200 ones. Anyone else have these issues? I am going to wait till the morning as there are lots of pay for appointments but hopefully in morning there will be free ones.
Also they want me to scan all my documents in or else they will charge a fee. But they don’t provide a place to scan it into. How does this work?

You upload the documents on the ukvcas website. When you log in it has a document upload section. It maybe that you have to book the actual appointment first before the website has those options. I can’t recall now. But when I log in, it has Manage Services and Upload Documents. So it’s possible you do have to book first because the Manage Services is where you buy extra options like document checking etc.

It’s so overly booked I couldn’t imagine waiting to submit any applications. I’m glad I submitted pretty much as soon as I was able to as the stress of waiting to find an appointment was bad.

It took me three days of checking to locate an appointment. Just keep trying everyday and check all locations within reason. You could try calling but the £2.50 a minute charge put me off.
