ILR 9.13 period of absence ?
« on: July 15, 2019, 02:55:35 PM »
It asks for details of all periods of absence from the UK from the time I entered, does this mean I need to list all my holidays abroad?
Thanks, Laurie

Yepp. And, if you apply to naturalise again, you'll be asked for those details again so I would just write it all down in a word doc or something so you can use it if you decide to naturalise and save yourself the hassle of looking it all up again.
My, how time flies....

Just want to second the idea of keeping a record of your travel! Personally, I have a spreadsheet to track what countries I travel to, arrival and departure dates, duration, and reason for travel. I've referenced it loads of times, for visa and non-visa related things.

I've also found it helpful to have one of all my previous addresses and how long I lived at each one.
Spouse visa received: 30 November 2018
Arrived in the UK: 27 December 2018

FLR(M)
Application submitted: 4 August 2021 (super priority)
Biometrics: 15 August 2021
Decision: 16 August 2021 - approved!

ILR
Application submitted: 14 December 2023 (super priority)
Biometrics: 17 December 2023
Decision: 18 December 2023 - approved!

I just wish I would have done these things MUCH MUCH sooner than ILR hah
