VFS Website Spouse Visa question - reason for visit

On the website it asks reasons for visit

1 option is appendix fm partner
1 is settlement

Any ideas which is correct for spouse visa?

I thought same but it says type of visa/purpose of visa : settlement visa on my online printout I’m sending.
Wonder if it matters?

This application is so difficult.
Just paid for priority and there is nowhere to upload documents online. Does anyone have any suggestions? Finding this so tough.
If I send all physically, do they need to be originals?

Hmm, I think someone said recently that you have to upload the documents before you complete the purchase for priority, but having never done it myself, I'm not sure exactly how it works on the website.

If it hasn't given you the option to upload, then I guess you'll need to send the documents by mail instead.

Don't send the originals, just send copies of the originals... however, do keep all the originals to hand in case they ask for them again.

There have been some issues with New York not scanning the documents properly, and so Sheffield have had to contact the applicant to ask them to scan and email the documents to them again (which is where it comes in handy to keep the originals with you).

Yep, it's a new rule. As of September 2018, copies of documents are allowed.

Before that, only originals were allowed, but they changed how documents are submitted in September 2018 and now instead of sending originals directly to Sheffield, you send copies of the documents to New York.

Thanks - when I submit appendix 2 in my physical delivery, do I need to submit the whole doc or just to the page where I’m done - ie we are category a so shall I not include the rest (trying to not spam them with paper?)

Is US letter sized paper ok? We are printing docs to send and they don't have A4 available in the US and biometrics tomorrow.... Thanks
