Medical Cannabis Trial

They are going to be undertaking one of the largest medical cannabis trials to date, because NICE ignored all of the existing evidence in their guidelines for prescribing medical cannabis. I know quite a few of us are impacted by conditions that can potentially be managed by medical cannabis, and obviously as immigrants are having to follow the rule of law at all times or potentially have much larger consequences if caught. Private prescriptions are currently available but prohibitively expensive, happy to share info on those too if needed.

I really hope!

I hope! I have several family members who could benefit from this, so I know the impact it could make.

I told my doctor I was interested in enrolling in it, because we are really struggling with pain management at the moment. The pain meds that don't make me hallucinate affect my stomach pretty severely so can't be used on a regular basis. Really hope that I get accepted into it when they publish more info! But I didn't want to put too much weight in it during the appointment in case he thought I was self medicating (which I definitely won't do).
