Standard Visitor Visa certified documents?
« on: August 04, 2019, 12:03:42 PM »
I've looked at the Gov.Uk website, but I don't see this information.  The supporting documents for a General Visitor Visa.  There are two queries:

a) do they all need to be certified by a solicitor for example?  For example, for the bank statements showing I can support the applicant on her visits.  And for the supporting documents she shows them. Or are certified documents not necessary?

b) are these documents considered as invalid by UKVI after (for example) they are three months' old?  So newer replacement documents must be obtained.

Thanks.

Hi Dave,  :)

This says that all documents must be originals and not photocopies so you should send original paper statements. I would make sure they are as recent as possible.

Just ask your bank to send them to you if they don't already. It shouldn't be a problem.
