Super Priority Slow?
« on: September 24, 2019, 06:52:08 PM »
Dear All,

In need of some advice again!

My wife and I applied for our FLR (AF) on the 3rd October using super priority service. We then had our biometric appointment on the 12th September.

So far we have had absolutely nothing from UK Visas. There was nothing contentious about the visa and we got it checked over by a lawyer before submitting. The biometric workers also confirmed before they submitted it was super priority.

Does anyone have any advice on what to do now? Should I call UKVCAS, wait longer or email?

As you can imagine getting slightly worried now!!

Many thanks for your help in advance

Yours Aye

Do not worry, this does happen from time to time but I would contact UKVI. https://www.gov.uk/contact-ukvi-inside-outside-uk/y

Dear Larrabee ,

Many thanks for the quick reply! We will do that! It’s incredibly frustrating especially after paying for something to get it out the way quickly but hey ho!

Once again many thanks

You should also be able to obtain a refund of the priority fee but wait until you get your result before looking into that.
Good luck!  :)

Dear All,

Just to say we have finally got Mrs LaserRadials confirmation letter for her FLR through in the post yesterday.

We rang customer service on Monday to request escalation on our case. (17 WD)

On Tuesday we received an email confirming that our request had been passed on to the relevant department.

On Wednesday we received an email from UK Visa confirming our FLR had been approved and that they would refund the £800.

Friday we received our letter further giving confirmation.

Now just waiting for the BRP!

Many thanks for all the help and support from everyone here, it’s much appreciated! In about 5 years I’m Sure we’ll be asking more silly questions but for now a big thank you and good luck to anyone who’s in the process!
