Lets deal.....

I admittedly don't follow it closely, so I'm not certain of this, but didn't they say in their initial shock statement that they no longer wanted to take taxpayer money?  I thought they wanted to stop dancing on demand and find their own way without the Royal purse.  Has the final result turned out different to what they wanted to do?

That is what I understand. No taxpayer money plus he is paying back the £2.4m spent doing up his house.

His income is now mostly from the Duchy of Cornwall Estate. However, once grandma dies his brother William becomes Duke of Cornwall so that income will stop unless William keeps him on the payroll.

  The money from the Duchy of Cornwall is also public money as far as I am concerned.  Every penny the royal family has belongs to us as far as I am concerned since they have never had any proper job other than convincing the weak minded that God has put them in charge. 

He may be giving back some money, but as long as he is on the payroll he still owes us.  Unless they give back every penny and then live off of Meghan's money, they still owe me and everyone else.
