Another FLR(m) checklist post
« on: January 03, 2020, 06:03:51 PM »
Hi All,

I've just started getting all of my documents together and plan on applying early February. My visa is va lid until 29 Feb 2020, but I want to submit around the first week of Feb.

Here's a run down of what I've actually got as well as what I think I'll be needing. And just to clarify, I am the applicant as the spousal visa holder and my wife is the Sponsor as the UKC? Is that correct?

Passports: I need to scan every page of my current passport as well as my old passport. Ive only had 2 and have both in hand.
I also will include a scan of my wife's UK passport photo page.

Marriage Certificate:
Ive got the marriage certificate I used for my last visa application that I plan on scanning and submitting.

Work Payslips and Letter:
I will have payslips from June 2019, July 2019, August 2019, Sept. 2019, Oct 2019, Nov 2019, December 2019, and January 2019 along with a letter from my employer stating my start date, contract type, salary, contracted hours, and confirmation that the payslips are genuine.

I make 22,800 before taxes which I believe meets the financial requirement.

Banks Statements,
I will have bank statements from the months stated above that corrospond to my payslips to show funds going in. I am currently organising all of my post/bills but if I am missing a statement I will have the bank print and have a letter confirming their authenticity just in case.

Tenency agreement/Land Registry Docs
I have my tenancy agreement that states that we are on a rolling month to month contract.
I can get my landlord to write and sign a letter as well just incase.

I also have bought a house and can provide land registry details however we havent moved in yet as we are renovationg.

Utility Bills:
So I have a little difficulity with this one. I've got bills and what not in joint names that cover the whole time period. I just don't know which months to use!
I arrived in June 2017 and my earliest piece of post is a council tax bill dated 19-July-2017 with both our names on it. Would I then need a Nov 2017, Feb 2018, July 2018,Nov 2018,Feb 2019, and August 2019?

Anything else that I may be misssing?

Much love for all the help!

I'm hoping one of the experts will come by and give you more help, as well as double check my answers. But there were a few things I thought I might be able to help with....again - I'm not one of the experts and would always try to double check with them.

Passports: I need to scan every page of my current passport as well as my old passport. Ive only had 2 and have both in hand.
I also will include a scan of my wife's UK passport photo page.

There has been some discussion on whether or not to scan the sponsor's whole passport or just the photo page,  I'm not sure what the consensus has been. What does the checklist for FLR say? For ILR, it just says "passport" so I am playing it safe and scanning the whole thing. Not sure exactly what others have done.

Banks Statements,

You also need every page of the printed statement stamped by the back, as well as the letter.

Tenency agreement/Land Registry Docs
I have my tenancy agreement that states that we are on a rolling month to month contract.
I can get my landlord to write and sign a letter as well just incase.

I also have bought a house and can provide land registry details however we havent moved in yet as we are renovationg.

I'd recommend to get the letter.

If you have every month covered, it really doesn't matter how you spread it out as long as it is evenly spread out within the required time period. (For ILR, its since your last visa. For my FLR two years ago, it was previous two years. I think I've seen on this thread that it is still 2 years for FLR? What does your application say?)
AND
That it comes from at least three sources. So pick whatever configuration will work best for those two requirements. :-)

HSBC doesnt stamp statements unfortunately, but I can have them print off all of my statements and write me a letter along with it saying they're genuine.
