Streamline procedure

Has anybody done the streamline procedure themselves or did you hire somebody? I stupidly got behind for two years and now want to get my taxes in order. I did manage to file my fbar but just missed my taxes.

As a tax professional what I can say is that I have successfully prepared many hundreds of streamlined filings. None of our clients have experienced unexpected penalties.

Guya, what are your fees? I’m in a predicament as was going to hire an expert but my work just went through a first round of redundancies and I don’t think their done, plus we have a baby on the way. I’m feeling very protective of my money.

My taxes have been straightforward since moving- married but file separate. No children to claim. One very small stock from a company I worked for in America ( around $400).  I also make nowhere near the threshold to have to pay taxes and have no capital gains such as a house.
