FLRM Document Question -PANICing hard.
« on: January 17, 2020, 10:30:07 AM »
I'm hoping to apply for my FLR(M) (the extension, is that what's called?) in February. My BRP is till April but work are pressuring me because that is when my work permit expires and they're really stressed about my being ready in time.

So, I just needed to ask some very silly questions, and please bear with me because I am VERY nervous.

What mail evidence I need to send in and what category does that fall in? How should I space it out? We don't have a lot of mail addressed to us together but we do have a shared bank account and other official letters like NHS, DVLA, etc addressed to us at our home. We live with my parents-in-law but there is no mortgage (it's paid off). My husband pays the bills and the council tax, so I can get those.

Help me. Please.

Firstly, don't panic. As long as you submit a valid application before the expiration date of your BRP, your current permissions, including the right to work, are maintained under section 3 c of the immigration rules. A decision doesn't need to have been made in that time.

If you do prefer a faster decision, you can pay £800 for the 24 hour service although sometimes it does take a bit longer than that.

You need 6 joint  pieces of mail or for every missing joint piece, you can use one each from both of you. They need to be from at least 3 different sources and spaced evenly for the most recent 2 years preceding your application.
