Cost of a spousal visa extension from within the UK

The Shack is back! Hope you all had a great Christmas and thanks again for all your help in helping me secure my wife's Visa!

One question

My wife is now living with me in the UK (She is originally a US Citizen I am a British Citizen) and we are sitting down budgeting. One thing we are factoring in is the cost of reapplying for an extension of her visa.

Here is my question, last time anywhere else gave me conflicting accounts. So I am going to you guys who know best.


This current visa is my wife's first spousal visa. We are planning to obviously apply from within the UK. What would the cost of her extension be one the time to reapply rolls around?

Currently FLR is £1,033 and the IHS is £1,000 although both are subject to change.

Optional service for 24 hour decision is £800.

Keep an eye on the news and immigration website though. Conservatives want to increase the IHS fee to £625/yr, and in April the base visa fees often increase. These visas are far too expensive so be sure to keep a little cushion in your budget.
