Document submission help

My wife and I are applying for her spouse visa shortly. Regarding the documents, I have all the originals with me here in the UK. I have been going into work and scanning them on the machine and then forwarding them to my email as PDF files. Once I have all these document in PDF format, can I then just upload them to her application?

I am reading conflicting information - some people say I must mail the documents to her in the USA but others are saying I can just upload them onto her application from here in the UK.

Finally, in regards to bank statements, I have bank statements from Sep 19 to Feb 20 as they were printed online. If I go in to a branch and have them stamp each individual page, would that suffice?

Reason I am confused is some are saying bank statements need to be original copies, and other people stating I must mail them to her in the USA. Pretty confused right now on how to provide supporting documents for her application.

Also my pay slips I am relying on are from Sep 2019 to Feb 2020. My bank statements cover this period but run from 28th August 2019 to 29th February 2020. On my first bank statement it shows my August pay of 1,053 GBP being deposited into my bank which I am NOT relying on for this application. Do you think I should request bank statements again without last few days of August to avoid any confusion as ECO may think I am using this pay for application.

Ok thank you. And each monthly statement is maybe 2-3 pages long and the only page from each statement which is stamped is the front page which contains my name, address, month of statement etc. Is this ok or does every page have to be stamped?

Also, do you have any experience with uploading files?  I've tried to find information but there's a lot of conflicting answers. I have all the physical copies in the UK and I've scanned them all onto my PC and put them all in PDF format. Do I just upload each PDF? I don't need to send any physical documents to my wife in the USA for her to take to biometrics? Everything is completely online?

You can do either but it is easier if you scan to pdf files. Each file needs to be under 6mb.

The application is all electronic now, so you just submit it and pay for the visa and that's it..

Then, you book your biometrics appointment on the UKVCAS website, and then you have until your appointment date to scan and upload your documents.

You scan every single document, including your current passport, your sponsor's passport, your BRP card and any previous passports you have held while living in the UK.

It's also a good idea to take all the documents with you to the appointment, just in case something did not scan properly and they need to scan it again. And you'll need your passport and BRP at the appointment as well for the identity check.
