I opened a UK bank account in 2019. For the first time ever, I've had to check the box on my US tax return to say that I have a foreign account. It has a very small balance, so I don't need to complete an FBAR and it doesn't earn interest.
Other than checking the box about having a foreign account, there's no information about it in my tax return.
Have I done everything I'm required to do?
