ILR submitted, BRP expiring
« on: June 23, 2020, 08:58:48 AM »
I submitted everything for my ILR on 12 June 2020 (one day after I was eligible), and I know there is a LONG queue ahead of me for appointments. I just want to make sure I'm still eligible to work (I have a full-time job) even though my current BRP expires on 30 June 2020. I'm pretty sure I have seen this question before, but I'm having a slight panic attack.

I came into the UK on 8 July 2015.

Yes, as long as your online application was submitted before your visa expired, your immigration status and right to work will be automatically extended under 3C Leave while you are waiting for your visa to be processed.

That's exactly what I needed to hear. Thanks for the quick reply and the reassurance.

Put gov.uk 3c into a search engine.

Sorry, I left off the ā€˜eā€™ at the end of leave.

This one should work:
