ILR Fee payment - source from outside the UK

I'm just about ready to submit my ILR application, and I realised I have this unexpected stimulus check from the US government sitting in my US bank account. Has anyone had success paying their fees from a financial source outside the UK? I have VISA debit card for my US account, and it would just be so nice not do take that big chunk out of my UK funds.

As I said, I haven't tried to pay yet (and I could just wait to see what happens when I try), but I was wondering if anyone else has experience in this area.

I'd probably just move it to the UK first using Transferwise.

I've paid via an American card before. The billing address was in the US. Shouldn't be a problem.
