EDIT: ksand24 has helped us out again, as she always does, in a separate post I made about information around cancelling the application.
Original post:
We have submitted my FLR(M) this evening, and uploaded all of our documents.
After uploading, we realised that my middle name was left off of the FLR(M) 'Name of Applicant'. I am sure I had originally tried to write it in the first name slot, but it wouldn't all fit - so I left it off. I don't want to risk starting a new application under another login just to verify I am not thinking incorrectly.
On my passport it is 'First Name Middle Name Surname'. Also on my BRP. In various other areas of official bills, it is my middle initial, or no initial/no middle name at all. My signature usually includes my middle initial out of habit, but it's basically never used otherwise.
Have I just screwed everything up? I surely hope not. Do I need to write an accompanying letter? Could this be modified at the biometrics (doubt it)? I was very happy about submitting, and now of course this is nagging at me that I have just gotten myself a refusal. Do I need to cancel or vary this application and reapply? I am gutted that I've overlooked this basic step, and with the COVID wait I will go absolutely mad with worry.
Will this complicate matters when I apply for ILR and will need to use my First Middle Surname as 'other' names? Or does other names not care about middle names? Most people here that I know don't even have a middle name, it's practically unheard of in my husband's family.
