Email requesting FLRM Documents to speed process along
« on: July 01, 2020, 01:02:33 PM »
Hi guys,

Just thought some might find it useful information & curious to know if anyone has had the same?

I've received an email from the home office explaining that due to the delays caused by Sopra Steria sites being closed, they're doing whatever they can to continue assessing applications for FLR(M).  They've explained because my biometrics haven't been submitted yet, they cannot access the documents I've uploaded to the Sopra Steria system, so have asked for me to submit them via email.

It wasn't all my documents - just the evidence of me and my sponsor residing together.

Hopefully this means there won't be as significant delays as I was maybe expecting?!

Good luck to everyone waiting for outcomes!

We have another thread on the subject. https://talk.uk-yankee.com/index.php?topic=98139.0

Good luck with your application.  :)

I had a very similar email asking for our just marriage certificate and the proof of residence together documents.
I figure it's a good sign!

I’m curious also when you applied. I applied April 15 for ILR and have heard nothing at all yet.

I submitted online on April 15 for FLR. Have not received the email invitation to make an appointment.

I applied online on 5th of May. Are you guys a first time FLR application or second?

Just got a new email this morning saying that to continue moving things along UKVI and UKVCAS are changing the way they're processing applications and will now (in some cases) reuse biometrics from previous applications.
It says I will not have to attend an appointment at a UKVCAS service point, but will be advised of a new process for submitting a facial image as part of the ID verification process in order to receive my new BRP (if approved)

Doesn't seem like they'll be doing this for all applications so not sure what makes me "eligible" for this category.

Not sure what they're going to do about the rest of my documentation because so far they only asked for my evidence of me and my sponsor living together.

I'll post any other updates!
