Do I Need to Send My Docs if I Uploaded?

Sorry if this is a dumb question but just checking: if I uploaded my supporting documents to the VFS website, I don't also have to send them in to the NY Hub, right? I've seen mention of both where people uploaded and sent in the docs, but it sounded like that was when the VFS uploading system was being rolled out.

You don't have to do both but because the system was new as you say, and passport must be sent in any case, some people preferred to send the documents too.

Also: is the picture I take at my biometrics appointment, is this for my vignette for my fiancee visa? Or for my BRP? I want to dye my hair but if they think I have brown hair and I dye it black, will this cause issues? I could also be overthinking this.

It goes on the 6-month fiancé visa sticker in your passport.

You don’t get a BRP for a fiancé visa because it is only valid for 6 months and BRPs are only issued for visas valid for more than 6 months.

Once you are married and you apply for the 30-month FLR(M), you will give biometrics again and the new biometrics photo will be put on your BRP when the FLR(M) is issued.
