Citizenship
« on: July 24, 2020, 05:34:12 PM »
While we are waiting for a decision on ILR (M) we have been reading up on what needs to be done for citizenship application.  The only area we are worried about is the two referees that are needed.  We have a family friend that has known my husband since we got married in 2005 and she is a UK citizen but we are unsure who we can ask that is a professional person! is there a form they have to complete? how well must they know the applicant? what happens if you don't know anyone who is a professional person?

The professional doesn't need to be a UKC. They need to be able to say you are who you say you are.
