Does BRP need updating when Passport is renewed

Hello everyone!... been a while

My wife is on a UK Spouse Visa. She has just received a new passport .
Do we need to alert UKVI or any other authorities so the BRP is tied to her new passport?

No.  . https://www.gov.uk/change-circumstances-visa-brp

She will need to include both with her next application though, so don't loose the old one.
